The Gospel of Luke

In Luke 22:1–23, Jesus shares the Passover meal with His disciples, knowing that His betrayal and suffering are near. As He institutes the Lord’s Supper, Jesus gives His people a lasting promise of forgiveness and the assurance of His presence. Even in the face of betrayal, Jesus willingly gives Himself for the salvation of the world, establishing a new covenant through His body and blood.
