In Luke 2:41–3:14, we follow Jesus from His childhood in the temple to the beginning of John the Baptist’s ministry, as he calls people to repentance and prepares the way for the Lord. Through these passages, we are reminded of the importance of seeking God, turning from sin, and bearing fruit in keeping with repentance. As God prepares His people for the coming of Christ, we are invited to examine our hearts and live lives shaped by His Word.
